This grid is used to help us clinicians mark the areas for treatment and ensure that the RF energy is applied evenly across the targeted area. Post-treatment the grid is easily removed using an alcohol wipe.

Is Thermage FLX treatment painful?

Patients undergoing Thermage treatments will experience minor levels of discomfort. However, it should be noted that the latest Thermage FLX system is designed with patient comfort in mind, with the addition cooling blasts. It is also important to remember to communicate with your technician during treatment as pain tolerance is subjective and treatment intensity can be tailored to suit your personal preferences. Please also keep in mind that more power does not directly correlate with better results.

Is there any downtime?

Thermage treatments all have zero downtime. You can even go back to work afterwards. However, as with all treatments there may be unique side effects for some patients. If you experience any symptoms post-treatment we recommend you contact your clinic.

How long till you can see results?

Unlike other cosmetic treatments that require multiple sessions, Thermage FLX delivers immediate results from a single treatment.
